Weekly Weigh-In (#36)

It's not my scale, so I'm not going to count the weigh-in here at my sister, Amy's house. I'll weigh in on my scale Monday Morning and post here later.


I think I did good this week,... but there was that day I had a Big Mac (blech).

Lots of GOOD choices this week other than that. My big weakness I've decided is my evenings and weekends.

Amy helped me out with this a lot this weekend. We did really good. Amy and I made a Weight Watcher recipes from the All Time Favorites cookbook together; Lemon Chicken with Artichokes. (pg 102) This dish had a very distinct Greek feel to it. Amy added spinach to this recipe... a very good choice. It was really good and I loved cooking with my sister. I wasn't even sure what Orzo was, but the small rice like pasta fit this dish very well.

We also made a parmesan breadcrumb chicken, Chicken Milenase style from Weight Watcher's 20 Minute cookbook. My friend Trish introduced us to this recipe on her blog awhile back. I'd forgotten how delish it was. We served it with brown butter and asiago over whole wheat angel hair pasta. (Asiago was pretty close tasting to the pricer mizithra cheese we usually use, I was surprised)

I'm getting back into drinking my water too. My good habit of drinking lots of water had dropped off for a bit, so I'm making a point to make sure I'm well hydrated. (That helps with my weight not bouncing all over so much.)

I'm down .5 this week. That's the right direction!
