Pho Shizzle!!

I recently discovered a yummy yummy lunch. I went to Asia Palace located on the North West Corner of Redwood and 3500 South in West Valley City. Dennis and I went there on the recommendation of someone he works with. We've tried a couple of items, but last time we went, we hit the jackpot.
This... is Pho. I recommend the Beef Steak Pho and would not recommend the other beef meet available. Unless you are Vietnamese or very adventurous. It's a light lunch, even if you splurge a little and get a spring roll.
Pho is Rice noodles and it's served two ways... this is a beef version, that's what I get, with no steak... there is also Pho Ga which is a chicken version. The southern style is served with a very yummy aromatic BasilSaw Leaves... (sometimes)

Bean Sprouts
Lime and Jalapenos
You can also spice it up with sirracha (rooster sauce).

Low on points... light and fresh and yummy. If you get a chance to try it... you should. If you don't like it... ask for a "to go" container and bring it to me. (Just take out the meat first.) I will remember you in my will.

MMmmmmmm.....yummy!
There's actually a Pho Noodle house right nest door to the Asian market I told you about on 3500 South.
It's pretty good.
I like their BBQ pork noodle bowl but I always ask for the herbs on the side because there's one in the mix that tastes fishy and puts me off.
They have TONS of different noodle bowls.
The BBQ pork one comes with fried eggrolls in it so it's probably not point friendly.
The house fried rice there is excellent too. Probably also not point friendly. LOL
Maybe I'll give this place a try sometime.

Lol! The food looks good, but nothing like I've ever eaten before. I'll have to try it sometime!

Trish,
Yeah, I remember you mentioning the noodle house and noticed it there in the parking lot when I was there last. These restraunts are almost next door to eachother.

I actually considered trying it instead, but I was craving Pho... their Pho, and when I have a specific crave, I'm better off getting what I know will satisfy it. :)
I'm open though. Next time I don't have a lunch prepared, maybe.

The big plunge...
